When things go wrong

Your phone is overheating while streaming

Streaming can make a phone warm. If it becomes too hot, performance, charging or camera operation may be affected.

Move it away from direct sunlight and other heat sources. Reduce screen brightness and remove a case if doing so is practical. Keep the phone securely mounted.

If charging is adding heat, disconnect the charger when it is safe and practical to do so. Plan power for the length of the show rather than relying on a fixed battery percentage.

If your iPhone displays a temperature warning, turn it off, move it to a cooler environment and let it cool before using it again. On Android, follow the temperature warning and the device manufacturer's guidance. Do not ignore a warning to keep filming.

When the phone is ready, reopen ActionPPV and check the event's status. Follow the available recovery controls.

Do not deliberately end the event just to troubleshoot heat. Ending is final. If the event is already ended or recovery fails, email hello@actionppv.com.
