When things go wrong
Fans can't hear the stream, or can only hear the crowd
A sound problem may come from the broadcasting phone, an audio accessory or the viewer's playback. Check both ends before deciding the cause.
On the broadcasting phone:
- Check ActionPPV has microphone permission.
- Check the broadcast has not been paused or muted.
- Make sure the microphone is not covered by a hand, case or mount.
- Check whether an accessory is routing the audio somewhere unexpected.
- Close any call or other recording activity that may be using the microphone.
Do not disconnect an accessory you are intentionally using without checking its role.
Listen through an authorised watch link on a second device, preferably with headphones to avoid feedback. Ask the viewer to check player mute, media volume and audio output.
If the ring is hard to hear, review microphone placement and surrounding crowd noise. Do not assume every external microphone works with the app.
If sound remains missing, email hello@actionppv.com with the event and affected devices.
