When things go wrong
Blurry, dark, portrait or frozen picture
Start with what the viewer is seeing.
| Problem | Checks |
|---|---|
| Soft or blocky picture | Connection stability, camera lens, focus and viewer playback |
| Dark picture | Lighting and whether a bright background is dominating the shot |
| Cropped or narrow picture | Phone position and the preview shown before broadcasting |
| Frozen picture | App status, camera interruptions, phone temperature and viewer playback |
Clean the lens before the show and mount the phone securely. Check framing before starting rather than relying on rotating the phone during the broadcast.
If the camera appears frozen, look for a call, permission message or temperature warning. Follow the app's available recovery controls.
Ask an authorised viewer on a second device to check the picture. One working device helps narrow the problem but does not prove every viewer can play the stream.
If it persists, email hello@actionppv.com with the event name, phone model and a description of the picture.
