How to prepare your ActionPPV stream before going live

Do not start and end your event the day before as a rehearsal. Once ended, the same event cannot be restarted.

Prepare without starting the broadcast:

1. Install and sign in to the ActionPPV app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Check that you can access the correct event.
3. Check camera and microphone permissions.
4. Position the phone securely and check the framing and lighting.
5. Test the venue connection from the place you will film.
6. Check battery, charging arrangements and interruption settings.

If you use the phone's camera to check a local recording, close it before opening the broadcast in ActionPPV. A local recording checks picture and sound; it does not test the complete live-streaming service.

You can begin the real broadcast up to two hours before the scheduled event time. Once live, an authorised viewer can check picture and sound on a second device.
